Two weeks into the season and I’ve got one question: Where do we go from here? The good teams are losing, the bad teams are winning… or maybe the good teams are actually bad and the bad teams are suddenly good. At this point, your guess is as good as mine.
Let’s talk numbers.
We have 329 Poolers submitting picks each week. At 10 picks each, that’s 3,290 total selections. Of those, only 258 were placed on college teams — less than 8%.
That leaves 3,032 NFL picks, and 1,222 of those landed on losing teams. That’s 40% of all NFL picks… lost.
We have to do better! But don’t ask me for solutions — I’m about to buy a dog.
Close, But No Cigar
This week’s almost‑hero is EricM, who somehow pieced together 9 wins. His lone loss? Da Bears. After dropping 59 points last week, you’d think they were a lock at home against Minnesota. Apparently not.
Another 23 Poolers finished at a solid 8–2, proving that we do have some smarties in the group. On the other end of the spectrum, Frosty Balls and Saltines managed only 3 wins, and they’re still looking down at forbidden donut and Kessler Kid, who posted just 2.

After two weeks, EricM leads the pack with 17 wins. One win behind him are: Wildcard, Weekend Ron, Cashcows, RedDog, Jaybird, Vegas Rats, Man of Colors, agillyhuh, C.Hawk 80, and Lil Wambo.
Plenty of names in the hunt — this thing is wide open.
Pick 1 Winner & Loser Pools
Disaster might be too kind.
- Winner Pool: 338 entries → 51 eliminated after just two weeks.
- Loser Pool: 337 entries → 39 eliminated after two weeks.
Many Poolers in both Pools already have one loss, and just a reminder: It takes TWO losses to be eliminated. So if you’ve got one, keep picking — you’re still alive.
