Week 3 Recap — Upsets Everywhere
Another week, another Pick 10 disaster. Forty-five percent of the 3,290 teams picked went down in flames. And it all started Thursday night when Green Bay lost to Atlanta. Atlanta — not exactly an NFL juggernaut — walked into Lambeau without a single Pooler believing they could win. Green Bay collected 124 picks… and delivered 124 losses.
And that wasn’t even the worst of it.
- Cincinnati: 166 losses
- New Orleans: 105 losses
- Carolina: 105 losses
- Rams (The Chosen One game): 243 losses
- Eagles: 174 losses after falling to Da Bears
- Seattle: The granddaddy of them all — 298 of 329 Poolers went their way… and went down together
It was a rough week. A very rough week.
Bright Spots (Yes, There Were a Few)
Somehow, Pinch Weasel and Mr Big Pants navigated the minefield and posted 9 wins. Another 15 Poolers managed 8 wins, which feels like a miracle given the chaos.
And now the pot sits at $6,560.00 — the largest in Pick 10 history.
