Pick 10 Football Pool

Week 9 Recap

ROLLOVER!!!

Week 10 is worth $4,590.00 to a single winner

What a thrilling way to wrap up the first half of the Pick 10 Football Pool season — another ROLLOVER!

Sure, it’s nice to pay out winners, but this Pool was designed to build rollovers, grow the pot, and crank up the excitement. I’d bet most of you are dreaming of being the sole Week 10 champ. Even splitting it with one or two others wouldn’t be too shabby.

As usual, rollovers happen thanks to major Pooler Pick upsets. This week’s wrecking balls?

•           Carolina over Green Bay, knocking out 289 of 307 Poolers.

•           Minnesota over Detroit, taking down another 274.

You’d think those two hits would’ve cleared the field. But nope — thanks to a little-known Pick 10 policy I put in place years ago.

Let’s talk about absentee Poolers. It’s not uncommon for a few folks — sometimes even seven — forget to submit picks. My stance? If you paid to play, you deserve a shot. So, if picks aren’t in by Sunday noon, I assign the first 10 visiting teams listed on the website. This year, we added a twist: the Chosen One game. If it’s not among those 10, the missing Pooler gets the visiting team from that matchup.

This week, both Carolina and Detroit were visiting teams — so the 7 absent Poolers survived. But their luck ran out when visiting Atlanta fell to New England. Still, that Magnificent 7 turned in some of the best results of the week — a rare feat!

Top Performers This Week:

•           🥇 Bear1ChiBallin: 9-1

•           🥈 Fishin4aW, radboys2, shananigans and The Pigman: 8-2

Pick 1 Pools Update:

•           Winner Pool: 20 eliminated, 141 remain.

•           Loser Pool: A bloodbath — 78 of 163 lost for the second time. That leaves just 85 submitting picks this week.

Accumulative Pool Standings (After Week 9):

•           🥇 FUBAR and Bluto2me: 68 wins

•           🥉 Baarty Party, Bookee, It’s Miller Time, MamaBear_4739: 67 wins

•           🐾 Six more Poolers sit at 66 — and plenty more within striking distance.

That’s a wrap on the first half of the season.

$4,590.00 is up for grabs this week — so do your homework and choose wisely!
