Week 18 is worth $3,060.00 to a single winner
Nothing like a ROLLOVER week to close out the Pick 10 Football Pool season. Thanks to a handful of upsets at both the college and pro levels, the Week 18 winner(s) are guaranteed to take home—or split—$3,060.00. And yes, this week will produce winners. With Week 18 being the finale, whoever finishes with the most wins, takes the pot. If no one reaches 10, then 9 might do it. Or 8. Maybe even 7. Who knows! We’ll find out Sunday night.
Had the Pool ended this week, jimbawls, Rockhead, One and Done (Royal72), Silo BobandSusan, Hail Noe, TOGOM, Utdbear and zzsnap—all with 8 wins—would have cashed in. jimbawls and zzsnap, submitted picks on Sunday. As I mentioned earlier in the week, with only 11 games on Sunday/Monday, anyone waiting until Sunday pretty much had to run the table. Of the 21 that did wait, this duo almost pulled it off.
Week 18 brings only four college games. There were others, but they were a bit too lopsided for this Pool. The NFL slate is split between Saturday and Sunday, and it’s going to be a tough board. Several teams are fighting for playoff spots or seeding, while many others have nothing to gain—and we have no idea who will actually play. Even if starters begin the game, they may not finish it. Picking these games is a true crapshoot. It’s one reason fantasy leagues wrap up in Week 17.

Out of 21 players, 2 have been eliminated, leaving 19 still alive for the $3,220.00 pot.
Mwex10 and Junior D enter Week 18 undefeated. If they both stay perfect, they’ll split the winnings. The other 17 will receive my heartfelt thanks for participating.
Pick 1 Loser Pool
A similar story, just with fewer survivors. With Mr Speedo eliminated this week, only 6 remain.
Princess Brittany stands alone without a loss. If she nails her final pick, she pockets the full $3,220.00. If not, she’ll split with anyone else sitting on one loss.
Accumulative Pool
With the Rams’ loss tonight, Hail Yeah maintains a 1 game lead at the top with 128 wins:
Baarty Party at 127 wins sits in 2nd place.
In 3rd place, is Debar with 126 wins.
Right behind them are six Poolers at 125 wins: AL&BW, Bedaman, Canadian Joe, Conman999, scodog, and Steelers Rule—all very much in the hunt. This finish is shaping up to be a real nail-biter.

As in the past two weeks, none of the picks for those still alive in the Accumulative Pool—or the Pick 1 Winner/Loser Pools—will be posted until all selections are received.
That wraps up Week 17. Hard to believe we’re already heading into the final week of the Pick 10 season. The older I get, the faster these seasons fly by… and I’m not sure I love that.
