Predicting the NFL teams that are likely to finish last in each division for the 2024 season.
As we approach the 2024 NFL season, it’s time to take a realistic look at which teams are poised to finish at the bottom of their divisions. After analyzing depth charts, practice reports, and schedules, we’ve projected the team in each division that is most likely to get a top draft pick in 2025 rather than make the playoffs.
In the AFC East, the New England Patriots stand out as the clear cellar dweller. With uncertainty at quarterback and significant coaching changes in the post-Bill Belichick era, the Patriots are projected to finish 4-13, well behind the Dolphins, Jets, and Bills.
While fans often enter each season with high hopes, the reality is that one team has to finish last in every division.
These projections aim to provide a dose of realism as we gear up for the 2024 NFL campaign. As training camps open, the true test will be which teams can defy the odds and exceed these preseason predictions.
