Pick 10 Football Pool

Week 10 Recap

WINNERS!!

Week 11 will be worth $1,590.00 to a single winner

For the second consecutive week we have some winners. This time, only 3! BH Reach, Clubberland and Nick Papagiorgio were able to navigate around the NFL upsets of the Giants, Bears and Falcons. For their effort, they split a pot of $1,590.00. Each received a payout of $530.00. Congratulations to all of you!!

Their win wasn’t without some tension though. Last night’s Detroit vs Houston was a nail-biter. All 3 had selected Houston and if not for a near miss field goal in the closing seconds, they may have lost in all in overtime.

One note of interest, all 3 winners picked 3 college games and 7 pro games.

Each week there are 25 games included in the Pool. Every week there are 25 winning teams. The Pool shouldn’t be that difficult. But most of us latch on to the heavy favorites, especially on the NFL side. All it takes are those one or two upsets. and over 200 Poolers are eliminated. Knowing how to avoid those upsets requires no skill at all. It’s just pure luck. At least thats how I see it. Of course the 110 Poolers that have cashed in so far this season, most likely don’t share that opinion.

The Pick 1 Winner Pool keeps losing players. Week 10 saw 5 of the 31 Poolers remaining lose their 2nd game and have been eliminated. GT is the only Pooler without a loss. Royal72 took his 1st loss by picking the lifeless Rams on MNF.

The Pick 1 Loser Pool has had a lot more luck as only one Pooler was eliminated this week. That leaves 41 still competing.

The Accumulative Pool saw a little separation at the top of the standings. Killer B is now alone in 1st place with 77 wins. Falling into 2nd place, and 1 win behind are Junior D and Tommy G with 76 wins. Tied for 4th place with 75 wins are Roso30 and tungey.

After 10 weeks this Pool is as close as it’s ever been. There are still almost 90 Poolers with between 70 and 74 wins. So, a couple of good weeks can change the makeup of the Accumulative Pool.

That’s it for Week 10. Week 11 appears to be pretty easy.
